What could be better than a stroll in the countryside in the Province of Drenthe? Therefore we have developed a walking arrangement.
We have mapped out three different walking routes that will take you through Nieuw-Dordrecht and its surroundings. With our handy booklet (only available in Dutch), you will not get lost and you will learn interesting things about the area along the way. All routes start at the museum and if you choose, you can enjoy a meal on your return.
Which variant do you choose?
STAP & HAP | € 11,50 p.p.

This is a walk-in arrangement. This means that you do not have to book this arrangement in advance. However, this only applies to groups of up to 6 people. Groups larger than 6 persons must be booked in advance.
STAP & GO | € 5,70 p.p.
- Choose your favourite hot drink to go
coffee / tea / hot chocolate - Choose a cake
- On your way with our handy booklet
This is a walk-in arrangement. This means that you do not have to book this arrangement in advance.
STAP & STOET | € 22,95 p.p.
- Start with coffee or tea and a slice of cake
- On your way with our handy booklet
- Upon your return, enjoy some tasty sandwiches, orange juice and milk
This arrangement must be booked in advance and is available for groups of 5 persons or more.
EXTRA OPTION for all variants:
a visit to the museum for an extra charge of €7,- p.p.
Arrangements cannot be used in combination with the Dutch museum card or other discount offers.

Routes
We have put together three routes for you, which have been compiled into a handy route booklet (only available in Dutch). Regardless of which variant of the walking arrangement you choose, you will always have the choice between the three routes. Please hand in the route booklet at the museum reception afterwards.
ROUTE 1:
Length 8.6 km | estimated time 1 hr 45 min to 2 hrs. You can shorten this route to 6.6 km | estimated time 1 hr 15 min to 1.5 hrs.
ROUTE 3:
Length 3,0 km | estimated time 30 min.
ROUTE 2:
Length 7,3 km | estimated time 1,5 h to 1 h 45 min. You can shorten this route to 5 km | estimated time 1 h to 1 h 15 min.
Make sure not to start your walk too late, otherwise you may not get back in time. The museum closes at 17:00.
