The Museum Collectie Brands donorship and
occasional gifts
Museum Collectie Brands is a small institution that is working hard to grow into a semi-professional organisation. We have the ambition to become a cultural-historical and regional museum of note in the region. In addition to its own income from, among other things, entrance fees, the museum is largely dependent on subsidies, donors, a few sponsors and incidental gifts. And not to be forgotten are the dozens of volunteers who selflessly invest their time in the museum.
In order to realise our ambitions and thus preserve our heritage for the future, we can use all the support we can get. You can do this by making a one-off donation or by becoming a donor. Below you can read how this works.
Occasional donations
Donations are more than welcome. These will go to the Stichting Nieuw-Dordrecht Historisch en Cultureel Brands. This foundation is responsible for the exploitation of Museum Collectie Brands (read more here).
Museum Collectie Brands is registered with the Dutch tax authorities as an Institution for General Benefit (ANBI). An institution can only be an ANBI if at least 90% of its activities are for the public benefit. The ANBI status of the museum means that the museum does not have to pay tax on inheritances and donations. So every euro of your contribution goes entirely to the museum. Donations to ANBI institutions are also tax-deductible. You can read more about this on the website of the Dutch tax authority the ‘Belastingdienst‘.
If you want to delight us with a donation, you can transfer the amount you wish to bank account number NL73 RABO 0139 9736 21 in the name of Stichting Nieuw-Dordrecht Historisch en Cultureel Brands. Please mention in the payment description that it is a once-only donation.

The donorship: what does it mean?
You can become a donor for just €30 per calendar year. You will receive all sorts of things in return.
As a donor you will enjoy free admission to the museum throughout the year and you may also bring one guest, who also has free admission.
As a donor, you are invited to our annual donor’s meeting and exhibition openings. Donors can also attend an event in the annual programme free of charge (after prior notice and upon presentation of the donor’s card).
You will also receive our newsletter with information about activities, exhibitions and developments within the museum. All these extras make the donorship very attractive.
The donorship is bound to a calendar year. If you become a donor in January, you pay the full amount of €30. If you become a donor later in the year, you can choose not to pay the full amount, but to pay for the remaining quarters (3 quarters €22.50, 2 quarters €15 or 1 quarter €7.50).
How do I become a donor?
By clicking on the button below, you can become a donor immediately. After filling in your details, you pay your contribution directly via iDeal (online payment system). You can also visit the museum reception and fill in a donation form on the spot. Another possibility is to call us at 0031 (0)591-393400 (during opening hours) and have a receptionist help you complete your registration .
Do you prefer to transfer your contribution yourself? Then pass on your contact details to info@collectie-brands.nl and transfer the amount to bank account number NL73 RABO 0139 9736 21 in the name of Stichting Nieuw Dordrecht Historisch en Cultureel Brands (please state the full name). We kindly request that you mention in the description of the transfer that it is a payment for the donorship. You can also give us permission for a direct debit (in that case a signature is required).
When we have received your payment, we will send you your personal donor’s card by post. When you show this card at the museum reception, you are entitled to the benefits mentioned earlier.
