ANBI-status

Museum Collectie Brands is designated as an ANBI (Public Benefit Organisation) by the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration (Belastingdienst). At least 90% of the efforts of an ANBI have to be dedicated to the general benefit of the public.

The museum’s ANBI status means that the museum does not have to pay tax on inheritances or capital gains. Therefore, every euro of your donation will directly benefit the museum. A donation to institutions with an ANBI status also has certain tax advantages for benefactors. For more information about this subject, please visit the Belastingdienst website.
